Tuesday May 13, 2025 TBA
This interactive workshop will empower educators to harness the power of AI to personalize learning experiences for all students. We will explore various AI tools and resources, including generative AI and AI-powered tutoring platforms, designed to address diverse learning needs and remove barriers to meaningful instruction. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with these tools, explore a curated AI resource hub, and engage in collaborative discussions to share knowledge, address ethical considerations, and develop strategies for equitable AI integration in their classrooms.
The session will prioritize tools and strategies that cater to students with diverse cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and disabilities, while also addressing digital equity. Presenters will emphasize the importance of identifying and mitigating potential biases in AI algorithms and datasets, protecting student data privacy, and understanding how AI algorithms work to ensure their responsible and ethical use in education. Through interactive demonstrations, hands-on exploration, small group discussions, and open Q&A, participants will develop practical skills in prompt engineering and tool selection to ensure AI effectively supports student learning and well-being.
