AI and the Science of Reading workshop explores the five pillars of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension while identifying areas where AI is demonstrating promising practices and areas of caution. Participants will learn ChatGPT and NotebookLM prompts that can make reading instruction and learning both more efficient and productive. Promising research on AI and vocabulary will be a highlight.
