In this interactive, hands-on session, educators and school leaders will explore how to leverage Colleague AI to create differentiated learning experiences and implement mastery-based grading practices. Participants will learn to analyze and modify instructional tasks for different depths of knowledge (DOK) levels, ensuring rigorous and personalized learning opportunities for all students. Moreover, through hands-on practice with Colleague AI tools, educators will master the creation of standards-aligned, mastery-based rubrics and write detailed, growth-oriented feedback. The session emphasizes practical implementation, combining AI-enhanced capabilities with sound pedagogical frameworks to support diverse learner needs. Participants will leave with immediately applicable tools and strategies, including templates for differentiated task design, sample rubrics aligned with standards, and frameworks for implementing mastery-based grading in their classrooms.
