About me
Miles Rooklyn is an ELD teacher at McDaniel High School in Portland, Oregon.
He brings over 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and teacher leader. Miles has served as a Teacher on Special Assignment supporting both English Language Development and Spanish Dual Language Immersion programs in Portland Public Schools. His work has focused on professional development, curriculum adoption, coaching for literacy and language instruction, and fostering collaborative, asset-based approaches to teaching multilingual learners.
