About me
Liz has worked in education for over 20 years and has been part of the Skills21 team leading NSF grants, research projects, and writing curriculum for personalized learning since 2017. She is passionate about Capstone and Personal Interest Projects, equity in education, and increasing student engagement. As the Director of School Services, Liz provides support to school districts on topics related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Prior to working at EdAdvance, Liz taught math and special education for many years. Liz lives in New Milford, CT with her husband, two daughters, a dog, and two cats. She loves all things fiber arts and is rarely seen without knitting needles!
