About me
I am an educator with nine years of teaching experience, including accolades such as the 2016 LAUSD Rookie Teacher of the Year and the 2022 CVA Teacher of the Year; I am thrilled to be a speaker at this AI Summit. My educational journey began at UCLA, where I earned my teaching credential and was further enriched at Cal State Fullerton with an Education Doctorate. I teach at Magnolia High School and Cambridge Virtual Academy and serve as the eKadence coach for the Anaheim Union High School District. In this role, I actively collaborate to develop features that enhance the learning and teaching experience.
My dedication extends beyond the classroom as I strive to disrupt traditional educational systems and advocate for social justice for all students. I believe in the power of AI as a transformative tool, offering unprecedented access and resources vital for the empowerment of the next generation of learners. At this conference, I aim to share insights and strategies for leveraging AI to foster educational equity and innovation.
